Lymphatic system

The lymphatic system consists of organs, ducts, and nodes. It transports a watery clear fluid called lymph.  This fluid distributes immune cells and other factors throughout the body. It also interacts with the blood circulatory system to drain fluid from cells and tissues. The lymphatic system contains immune cells called lymphocytes, which protect the body against antigens (viruses, bacteria, etc.) that invade the body. See more on lymphocytes below.

Main functions

»
“to collect and return interstitial fluid, including plasma protein to the blood,
and thus help maintain fluid balance,
»
to defend the body against disease by producing lymphocytes,
»
to absorb lipids from the intestine and transport them to the blood.”

Lymph organs
»
Include the bone marrow, lymph nodes, spleen, and thymus. Precursor cells in the bone marrow produce lymphocytes. B-lymphocytes (B-cells) mature in the bone marrow. T-lymphocytes (T-cells) mature in the thymus gland.
»
Besides providing a home for lymphocytes (B-cells and T-cells), the  ducts of the lymphatic system provide transportation for proteins, fats, and other substances in a medium called lymph.

Lymph nodes
»
“Human lymph nodes are bean-shaped and range in size from a few millimeters to about 1-2 cm in their normal state.
»
They may become enlarged due to a tumor or infection. White blood cells are located within honeycomb structures of the lymph nodes. Lymph nodes are enlarged when the body is infected due to enhanced production of some cells and division of activated T and B cells.
»
In some cases they may feel enlarged due to past infections; although one may be healthy, one may still feel them residually enlarged.”

Lymph
»
Lymph means clear water and it is basically the fluid and protein that has been squeezed out of the blood (i.e. blood plasma). The lymph is drained from the tissue in microscopic blind-ended vessels called lymph capillaries.
»
These lymph capillaries are very permeable, and because they are not pressurized the lymph fluid can drain easily from the tissue into the lymph capillaries.
»
As with the blood network the lymph vessels form a network throughout the body, unlike the blood the lymph system is a one-way street draining lymph from the tissue and returning it to the blood.

Lymphatic machine
»
The Lymphatic machine is a vibrational energy technology. As such it emits “information” to the energy field of the cells via harmonics of sound and frequencies of light. It produces this information by way of something called “noble gas ionization.”
»
There is a long tradition of research into the energetic effects of these noble gases. An optimal mixture of xenon, argon, and krypton is enclosed in Pyrex glass tube. The gases are excited by electrical current. An energy field, or plasma, then radiates from the tube onto the skin and is conducted through the entire bio-energy system. Proteins are re-polarized causing retained fluid and congested areas to flow.
»
Stagnation is reversed and the lymph system is now free to perform its cleansing functions! The Lymphatic machine is applied by placing the transmission head, or heads on the skin. The placement sequences, timing, and applications are covered by your professional coach or body worker. Use of the instrument on the body is preceded by lymphatic probing massage to feel for congested areas.

Benefits
»
Improves edemas, fibrotic conditions, and swollen lymph nodes. Some conditions reported to have benefited from therapy include breast lumps, inflammation, chronic pain, joint aches, allergies, sinus, respiratory problems, headaches, prostate problems, hormone imbalance and chronic female conditions, dental trauma and chronic problems, heavy metal toxicity, neuromuscular trauma, immune and fatigue syndromes.
»
Excellent adjunct to manual lymph drainage techniques to open lymph system and improve fluid flow and accelerate detoxification of tissues.
»
Reduction of pain due to lymphatic conditions.
»
Helps in the prevention of breast and prostate problems.
»
Pre and post athletic applications to increase performance and decrease muscle and tendon strain.
»
Provides relaxation, emotional balance, and feelings of well-being and increased energy.
»
Cosmetic enhancement by the reduction of fluid deposits in the face, healthier skin, supporting all cellulite reduction therapies, & post-procedures such as micro-dermabrasion.
»
For health conscious individuals and athletes for greater vitality, performance, and cleansing, injury reduction.
»
Clears and re-balances the energy field of health care practitioners after working with clients. This is especially important for bodyworkers.
